Halibut caught while sport fishing range in size from 10 to 300 pounds or more. There are strict regulations in place for sport fishing halibut. Not many halibut are at the large end of the scale. Even a 40-60 Pound halibut produces plenty of valuable meat to share with family and friends.  A charter excursion can last up to a full day.

Halibut are caught on large saltwater fishing reels, using baited hooks. Your charter will provide the oversized fishing gear you need to pull your fish in. When a halibut comes on the line, the ensuing fight can be quite exciting. Make sure you buy your ticket for the local halibut Derby before you set out fishing.

King, Red, and Silver Salmon pass by the shoreline throughout the summer months.

The 1st run of King Salmon (Deep Creek, Ninilchik and Kasilof River fish) are smaller, come in larger quantities and arrive at the end of May and 1st part of June. The larger, Kenai Kings swim past starting in Mid-July through the 1st part of August.

Silver Salmon can also be trolled in the inlet from Mid-July through August as they stage and begin to move up our local streams.
